My Beautycounter Favorites to Snag from the 15% Off Sale!
SURPRISE! That’s some good news on a Tuesday 🙌🏼
You guys know that I’ve been slowly making the swap to clean beauty products and Beautycounter has quickly become my favorite beauty brand because they make switching to clean products so easy. Rather than doing endless research looking for clean swaps, I can just try the Beautycounter version when my current product runs out and I’m guaranteed that it’s clean and I’ve liked almost everything I’ve tried. They rarely do sales and discounts like this but today they launched their Friends & Family 15% off sale that runs through August 12th!
In that survey I shared last week, over 80% of you have said you’re interested in clean beauty — so this is a perfect time to try some out! And, the majority of you that weren’t interested said it’s because you either didn’t know enough about it or weren’t sure the products would actually work. I became interested in learning more about it REAL QUICK after checking out this app. It’s a smack in the face to just how unsafe and unclean the majority of our beauty products are in the U.S. It’s a little mind-boggling, honestly. I started to think about how I’m over here trying to live a healthy lifestyle… working out, eating cleaner, and then I look up some of my daily products that straight up failed the test and were full of all kinds of chemicals. Beautycounter is working to get safer products into the hands of everyone and has a never list of over 1500 questionable or harmful ingredients that they will never use. You can read more about that here.
So, now that you understand a little more about the why, let’s get right to my list of favorites so you know which products to grab while they’re on sale because I promise, they WORK!
But first, are you on my clean beauty list?
If you’re at all interested in clean beauty, trust me, you want to be on this list. Subscribers get access to special deals, samples, giveaways and more. There may be something extra special happening for this sale right now, but I can’t share unless you opt in! 😉 Trust me, if you’re thinking of buying anything — you want to get on the list first!
Here are my top Beautycounter favorites that I’ve tried (& LOVED) so far:
This is hands down my favorite beauty product EVER. And not just from Beautycounter. Favorite I’ve tried, period. It’s a really gentle overnight peel that evens skin tone, lightens dark spots and targets fine lines. I swear I woke up glowing with softer skin and smaller pores. They recommend you start with once or twice a week and gradually build up — I now use it every night.
I just got this in a couple weeks ago after tons of you told me how much you love it. You weren’t wrong! It’s amazing for cleaning out your pores and you can actually see it happening, it’s crazy. You’ll see little dark spots everywhere your pores are being cleaned out and it’s like magic. I’m using it 1x per week!
I LOVE this daily moisturizer. As the name claims, it truly adapts to the amount of moisture your skin needs. It also feels light on my skin and provides great hydration all day long.
Something to consider if you’re interested in #2-3…
Both of those products are included in the Best of Beautycounter bundle. Buying this set saves you $9 — plus, you also get the No. 1 Brightening Facial Oil and the best-selling Cleansing Balm. Let me repeat that. $9 less PLUS two additional products. AND 15% off on top of that. This set is a steal and valued at over $132. Can’t beat it.
I don’t know if any of you have tried to switch to a clean shampoo or conditioner but it’s hard. Lots of clean ones don’t lather the way a “non-clean” shampoo would and I just couldn’t get on board with a clean shampoo if it didn’t really work. My friend Jess recommended these and I’ve been using them for about a month now and love them! Plus, I read that most shampoo products strip your hair and actually keep your color from lasting as long — once I heard that I was sold. I’m pretty low maintenance about my hair, so more time in between appointments is an added bonus!
A great product if you have acne-prone or oily skin like I do. It gives you a clearer, brighter complexion and this combined with the mask is what I believe has really cleared up and shrunk my pores. I don’t use it every day, I just keep it in the shower and use it to wash my face then.
The scent is Citrus Mimosa and how good does that sound?! You know how after using a lot of body washes, you get out of the shower and your skin has that stripped feeling? This doesn’t do that. Plus, like I said, it smells great.
Any blondes like me out there with invisible eye brows? Sure I can get them tinted (or do it myself with the kit I shared in my Amazon post), but I still always have to fill them in as a blonde. Needless to say, I’ve tried alllll the brow product favorites out there and this guy is the winner. It stays put all day, is buildable and looks SO natural. I wear shade light.
For those of you who have requested easy make-up routines and no make-up make-up looks…
This brow gel is also part of Beautycounter’s Flawless in Five set. I haven’t snagged this for myself yet but have heard amazing things. It’s the perfect rec for anyone looking for a really simple routine that can get them out the door in five minutes (hence the name Flawless in Five). The set includes: the Tint Skin Foundation (which I’m dying to try), blush, mascara, a brow gel or pencil, concealer and lip gloss. It’s actually not part of the 15% off sale because it’s already a discount bundle, but it’s still such a good deal.
The color 9 to 5 is so dang good. Another recent BC product I’ve tried and love. I always struggle with super dry lips and for that reason, often hate lipsticks. This one is so creamy and hydrating — and a beautiful color! They also just re-released their Transforming Lip Duo that they offered around the holidays. I wanted to buy it then but didn’t, so might have to snag it this time around!
Want free shipping and 10% back every purchase?
Of course you do. If you plan on purchasing products from Beautycounter, their Band of Beauty Membership is definitely worth it. It’s $29 per year and you get free shipping, a free product for signing up and 10% of your subtotal can be put toward your next purchase every time. You can sign up here — but again, you might want to get on my email list (above) before doing so 😉
And that’s it! Again, you don’t want to miss out on taking advantage of this sale. They truly only have a discount like this maybe twice a year so this is your chance! I’d love to hear what you get or have already tried from Beautycounter — it’s always fun to get product recs from you guys too. Happy shopping!
